What data does FindQC collect?

We collect only what's needed to run core features and improve your experience:

Account & Sign-in Data

If you log in with Google (OAuth), we use basic identifiers to recognize you.

PurposeTo save and sync your collection, history, and preferences.

Browsing Activity

Records of items viewed and interactions like clicks.

PurposeTo calculate popularity ('heat'), improve search ranking, and train AI matching systems.

Saved Items

What you save to 'My Collection' and when.

PurposeTo keep your library available across devices and refine relevance algorithms.

Why collect activity?

FindQC's value depends on speed and accuracy.

  • *Popularity ranking reflects demand: What people view helps surface useful items.
  • *AI needs feedback: Browsing patterns help the system learn what "relevant" looks like.

The goal is not to "track you." The goal is to make FindQC work better.

Selling Data?

Only when legally required by a valid court order. We aim to disclose only the minimum required by law.

AI Training Usage

We use anonymous usage signals (views, saves) to:

  • Improve popularity ranking ("Heat")
  • Refine search relevance
  • Train image matching accuracy

We do not use your personal identity information for this purpose.

Retention & Deletion

We retain data for 6 months. After the retention period, data may be removed or processed in a way that reduces identifiability, depending on system and operational needs.

Yes, you can request account deletion. Deleting your account triggers the handling/removal of data associated with your account, including saved items and related records.

Can I use FindQC without logging in?

In most cases, you can use basic search features without logging in. However, features that require long-term storage and syncing (such as My Collection and Link Converter history) require sign-in.
