How to judge "Does it look right?" using QC photos. We provide the evidence-you make the decision before shipping.
Setting Expectations
FindQC is not an authentication service and we don't issue "genuine" certificates. Instead, we provide structured QC evidence so you can answer the real questions:

- * Does this batch have repeat issues?
The Mindset Shift
You are managing risk, not proving origin.
The costliest mistake isn't buying the wrong item-it's shipping the wrong item. Once it leaves the warehouse, fixing problems is slow and expensive. Focus on visual consistency and risk signals.

The 60-Second Check
Use the same order every time
Overall Silhouette
Does the shape look off? If the silhouette is wrong (shoe profile, bag structure), details won't save it.
Alignment & Symmetry
Left vs Right consistency. Centered logos. Straight seams. These are often the most visible issues from a distance.
Key Marks & Typography
Letter spacing, font weight, and placement. Clean vs fuzzy print edges.
Craftsmanship Details
Even stitching, clean edges, excessive glue marks, hardware quality.
Material & Texture
Plastic-looking leather? Flat sheen? Odd grain? Use QC Video (Premium) to check how light hits the material.
Reading Risk Signals (Premium)
Defect Records
Are issues concentrated in one category? (e.g., always glue stains). Is it a recurring batch flaw?
Return Records
Strong signal. Returns mean the issue was serious enough for someone to accept the hassle/cost.
Weight & Dimensions
Outliers can indicate different materials (lighter/cheaper density) or internal structure differences.
Making the Call
When to Walk Away
- x Major alignment/typo issues visible at a glance.
- x The same critical defect repeats across multiple records.
- x Premium QC shows returns centered on deal-breaker issues.
When to Request More QC
- ? Lighting hides color or texture.
- ? Key details (tags, engravings) aren't captured clearly.
- ? Angle doesn't show structure properly.
Golden Rule
If the evidence isn't there, don't gamble-ask for it.
"It's better to pay $1 for extra photos now than $30 to ship a mistake."
Compare Multiple Records
Don't obsess over one photo. Review 3-5 entries if possible.

The Realistic Decision
Your final decision isn't a courtroom verdict. It's practical:
- 1. Is it acceptable for your use case?
- 2. Is the risk controllable?
